When we came into Natchez, we had stopped at the Visitor Center to see what was to see. We heard about a Home and Garden Tour on Saturday, but because the weather was iffy, we waited till Saturday to pick up tickets. There were 6 houses on tour, 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. You could do all 6 or choose either morning or afternoon. We decided we would go in the afternoon. You selected the order you wanted to see the homes in and traveled on your own.
The first house we stopped at was the Oak Hill Inn. It was a Bed and Breakfast.
Our next stop had the most beautiful gardens. This is the Monmouth Inn, again a
Bed and Breakfast.
There was a lovely patio off the house, again the owners of the Bed and Breakfast were there. It was set up like maybe breakfast was served in this beautiful garden.
As we continued along, we came to the herb garden.
There was a lovely pond on the property, where a man was fishing, he said for bass.
My favorite picture, it looks so serene.
Gazebo and bridge over pond.
Perfect for weddings.
Covered trellis.
Our last stop was Cottage Gardens. Which, of course, is a Bed and Breakfast.
No owners here, so it was easier to take pictures.
The patio.
It was a perfect afternoon. In a lovely city, with great hospitality.
