We arrived in RGV (Rio Grande Valley) on December 31st and was just in time for a New Years Eve Party. The activities started then....
Bob started a new hobby of woodworking, so we went to a show for inspiration.

They even have a rescue dog.
We attended Pioneer Days at the Museum of South Texas, in Edinburg, Tx.
We hit the kite festival on South Padre, Island.
We took a tour of Rio Grande City. It was a logical point for a trade,as the Rio Grande, for reliable steamboat traffic, and intercepted a number of overland routes to Saltillo, Monterrey, and Northern Mexico.
Fort Ringgold was our next stop and the Robert Lee House.
Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show and Rodeo. Have you ever seen Mutton Busting.
How about a pirates cruise. We loved it.
La Lomita Chapel in the City of Mission.
We attended the Onion Festival in Weslaco. To see the Rancho Caballo de Pura Raza Azteca horses.
Our final trip was to the Brownsville Zoo.
