A Road trip to Myrtle Beach

Jackie and Chico had never been to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.  Bob and I had been there 2 years ago, when we attended the RV Dreams Rally.  We were happy to take a road trip with them when we were so close.  We also wanted to visit Huntington Beach State Park, where several of our friends who we meet through the RV Dreams, had camped and seemed to really enjoy the campground on the beach there.

We drove up by this boardwalk.  Looks like Bob would like it here, as there was low lands where bird watching would be good.  Campground was a little tight for big rigs, but we wrote down some sites we thought might work and headed to Myrtle Beach.

We started at the Visitor's Center, finding it to be a more a timeshare sales office for the Sheraton.  It did give coupons to some restaurants, but we decided to choose one of our liking.  We headed towards the beach.  There was a realatively new boardwalk.

Bob wore his new shirt.  It says, " I spell my name backward."

The beach was beautiful!

We went to lunch then headed home.  It was a lovely drive and an enjoyable day.
