Back to Charlotte to visit some racing shops

Well, here is a report on our refrigerator.  The first 24 hours, the refrigerator never got cold.  Then we noticed it was set on 1, so we moved it up to 5.  We are hoping that it cools down now.
Bob didn't get enough of Charlotte, when we were here a few weeks ago.  So we returned and Bob spend two days visiting three different race shops.
First he went to Roush Fenway.

Roush Fenway is one of the top race teams and they race Fords.  Their drivers are Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, and Greg Bifle.
Here is Carl Edwards' car, the 99.

And Matt Kenseth's car, the 17. He is currently leading the points the Sprint Cup Series.

Next he went to Hendricks Motor Sports.  Hendricks is the top NASCAR team.  Their drivers are Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kasey Kahne and Jimmy Johnson.

Here is Jimmy Johnson, his car is number 48..  Jimmy Johnson has won the NASCAR championship 5 times in a row.

This also is Jimmy's car with a wrap (paint job) in tribute family members and team members that died in an airplane crash on the way to a race, in October 2004.

This Jeff Gordon's car, number 24. He won the NASCAR championship four times.

This is a race car chassis that is under the cars you see above.

Bet you are surprised at all I know about NASCAR.  When we travel in the motor home, Bob listens to the SIRUS radio station that is all NASCAR.  I try not to listen but obviously some of it soaked in while we were driving.
