On Tuesday July 3rd, the repairman was able to fit us into his schedule and came to check out our problem with the refrigerator. It turned out to be the cooling unit. We had two options either we could purchase a new cooling unit $1800 or a new refrigerator, which wouldn't fit exactly and cupboards would have to be modified for $4,000. Either way it had to be ordered and with Wednesday being the 4th, it wouldn't get here till Friday. We had the cooling unit ordered and were glad we were in a beautiful area, with much to explore.
On Friday Steve, came with a new cooling unit and a helper to get it installed. First you have to pull the refrigerator out.
Then you will see the hole it leaves in the side of the motor home.
This is Steve working on the refrigerator. It took about 1/2 day to get the refrigerator back in place.
Next Steve put the new microwave/convection in for us.
Now the refrigerator was fixed and microwave/convection oven was installed, so we could head back to Charlotte for Bob to visit a few race team shops.
