North Carolina Arboretum of Asheville

We had planned to leave Asheville today BUT the day we went to the Biltmore, our refrigerator died.  Because we eat out so much we didn't notice for two days.  We contacted a repairman but he couldn't come till Tuesday.  We tried three other repair places, and they never even returned our call. Rude!! At least call back and say you are busy. Anyway, we called the first guy back and and took the Tuesday morning appointment.  While we were waiting, we took a trip to North Carolina Arboretum of Asheville.  Our neighbor gave us her pass to get in and Pralines even got to go.

There were flowers,

more flowers,

And more flowers,

Even a flower quilt.

There was water,

more water,

more water,

and even a water wall.

There were art works: statues,

sculptures of clay,

artwork in iron,

and animals in iron.

Flowers in bloom and

berries, ripe for the picking.

What a beautiful place.
